Apple Cider Vinegar - The Natural Medicine




Apple cider vinegar holds a high reputation around the world and is known as one of the strongest tools that you can use to maintain your overall health.

Apple cider vinegar has proven to play a key role in bettering our health. You can mix it with other ingredients as a natural resource of healing and disease-preventing properties. These mixtures can be put together in a couple of minutes, so you shouldn't have any problems finding ways to include them in your busy day.


Here are a few simple apple cider vinegar remedies that you can make at home:

1. Headaches

This is actually one of the most simple mixes on this list. Just add two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and two teaspoons of honey to a glass of water and drink up. Tea also works, but the apple cider will already be adding enough flavor to the drink.

2. Sore Throat

Sore throat? Add one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to a glass of water and gargle the mixture every 2-3 hours.

3. Fighting Fatigue

This is one of the coolest remedies on this list. If you’re dealing with fatigue around the clock, try adding 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a cup of honey, and placing it in a jar. Let the jar sit for about an hour, and take two teaspoons every night before hopping into bed.

Note: You can also drink a glass of water mixed with one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar around lunch time for a short burst of relief.

4. Burn Treatment

Many people find success APPLYING diluted apple cider vinegar to mild burns throughout the day. The apple cider vinegar can prevent the formation of blisters and reduce the overall pain that you feel from the burn itself. It can really come in handy for the ones you get in the kitchen when you accidentally touch a hot pan.

5. Joint Pain Relief

If you’re dealing with a sore joint, then this solution should really come in handy for you (especially around bed time). Soak a cotton cloth in apple cider vinegar and use it to cover the affected area. Once it’s on, wrap the soaked cotton in a wool fabric and let it work its magic overnight. Adding two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to a glass of water at each meal can also help IMPROVE the joint relieving effects.

6. Weight Management

The use of apple cider vinegar as a home remedy for WEIGHT LOSS is centuries old. Studies  have shown that an overweight person could lose weight gradually by taking 2 teaspoons of ACV in a glass of water at each meal. No change in the daily food intake is required except to avoid high fat containing foods. 

**Cinnamon Honey Weight Loss Drink: 1 cup grapefruit or orange or pineapple juice, 2 tsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp honey, and 1 tsp cinnamon. Drink 20-30 mins before each meal (3x per day), it will break down FAT CELLS faster than anything else, and aids in digestion.


7. Heartburn (ACID REFLUX)

Heartburn or ACID REFLUX is a condition in which some of the acid content of the stomach periodically backs up into the esophagus.

Even though testimonials abound throughout the net on the effectiveness of using apple cider vinegar to RELIEVE HEARTBURN, no scientific studies have been done to substantiate this.
A recent survey, however, conducted at the Earth Clinic web site found that vinegar was the best of all the home remedies suggested to RELIEVE HEARTBURN or acid reflux.

So to relieve occasional heartburn, try drinking the general apple cider vinegar tonic (2 or 3 teaspoons to 8 ounces of water) before each meal.

8. Insomnia
Some people find that simply taking one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in 8 ounces of water just before bedtime, helps them to get to sleep quicker and sleep much longer.

Mix one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in one cup of honey and take two teaspoons of this mixture just before going to bed. Repeat after an hour if required.



There are so many more ways to use apple cider vinegar as a remedy for various ailments - the list is endless.
